The database contains more than 130 programs from around the globe organized by state, province/territory, or certification category. WPI is a professional association that facilitates the exchange of ideas, information, and strategies that work. ABC Testing
WPI’s testing service, ABC Testing, has been built around data collected from scores of environmental certifying authorities and thousands of job practitioners. C2EP uses information gathered by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from all over the world to create nationally validated, cost-effective, standardized exams that ensure operator competence in support of environmental certification programs.*
Involvement Opportunities
With continued membership, regulatory and non-regulatory certification program class member representatives are eligible to nominate, vote, and hold office. Voluntary program class member representatives may nominate and vote for any position and hold the office of At-Large Division Director.*
Annual Conference
Membership includes discounts to WPI’s annual Innovation in Certification conference. IiC is your opportunity to network with fellow industry professionals from across the globe.
Publications
WPI disseminates industry news relevant to its members through our biweekly, members-only newsletter, The Certifier. WPI also publishes the key industry publications Need-to-Know Criteria, Model Standards of Operator Certification, and exam validation guidelines.

To honor outstanding contributions toward establishing or advancing certification programs, WPI presents the following awards:
- Harris F. Seidel Lifetime Achievement Award – honoring individuals for lifetime service
- Robert C. McAnespie Outstanding Certification Officer Award – awarded to a member certification officer *
- Certification Program Award – presented to a member certifying authority *
- The Jess Jones Excellence in Service Award – presented to an individual or group for service to WPI
