Water Professionals International is committed to building a diverse, skilled, and accessible workforce, which is why we are excited to announce that our 2025 WPI Standardized Certification Exams for Class I and Class II are available in Spanish starting April 23, 2026. These exams are accompanied by Spanish Need-to-Know Criteria. This milestone reflects WPI’s efforts to ensure that language is never a barrier to professional growth or career advancement in the water and wastewater industry.
Spanish-speaking professionals make up a significant and growing segment of the water and wastewater workforce. Their expertise, dedication, and contributions are invaluable to the communities they serve. These operators deserve the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge in the language in which they are best equipped to succeed. By offering exams in Spanish, WPI is taking a meaningful step toward a more equitable and accessible certification process for all.
